A Heartventure for Creatives

September 17-23, 2024

4 spaces left

This retreat is a space for you to open yourself up to creatively connect to your Self,
to explore different mediums that will allow you see yourself in new ways,
and to walk ancient land, connecting us to a history and mythology that still plays a role
in our lives today.

OPEN

Open yourself up to a new place and all of its sights, sounds, smells and tastes. Taking yourself out of your every day and immersing yourself in a new culture allows your brain to rest and relax while also being stimulated with new creative ideas and processes.

GROW

The ultimate goal is growth, in whatever way that might mean for you. We will be there to push you, gently, into the spaces that scare you. We will be there to cheer you on and we will be there to be a safe landing place when you take leaps into the unknown.

STUFF YOUR EYES WITH WONDER

You will be immersed not only in the culture of Greece, but in your own creative journey through workshops and days designed to build those little creative niggles into full blown works of art. We will play, dance, swim, eat, walk, and explore our way into a space where creative freedom is buzzing.

✺ Frequently asked questions ✺

  • In brief, it’s one of the most unique places we’ve ever seen. Take a look here.

The Villa is located in the village of Emporia on Santorini. It is an old traditional winery transformed into luxury apartments. It is carved into the cliffside, has a plunge pool, jacuzzi and a 7m pool with views overlooking the sea and the town of Emporio.

  • You will fly into Santorini Airport on September 17th. Plan to arrive early enough to begin the retreat by 5pm on the 17th. If that means you need to fly in the day before, accomodations that night are up to you. There are taxis and buses to Emporia where the Villa is located.

  • Anything from a random coffee at a cafe, to tampons, to medicine, to bus tickets on your day off, or that linen outfit you spied in the window of one of the shops in town.

  • Whatever areas of creativity you would like to explore, bring the appropriate tools with. Ex: If you’re a painter, bring some travel paints and paper, if you’re a photographer, bring your camera and lenses.

  • As much as possible we will cater to your needs in our Villa, however, there may be times, when it’s not possible when we go to a restaurant.

  • To tackle this question, we’re gonna hand it over to our girl, Liz Gilbert:

““If you’re alive, you’re a creative person. You and I and everyone you know are descended from tens of thousands of years of makers. Decorators, tinkerers, storytellers, dancers, explorers, fiddlers, drummers, builders, growers, problem-solvers, and embellishers—these are our common ancestors. The guardians of high culture will try to convince you that the arts belong only to a chosen few, but they are wrong and they are also annoying. We are all the chosen few. We are all makers by design. Even if you grew up watching cartoons in a sugar stupor from dawn to dusk, creativity still lurks within you. Your creativity is way older than you are, way older than any of us. Your very body and your very being are perfectly designed to live in collaboration with inspiration, and inspiration is still trying to find you—the same way it hunted down your ancestors.”
